Java Software Engineer/Developer - Bristol - network software

An exciting new opportunity for a Java Software Engineer / Developer to join a company developing next generation networking software solutions. A starting salary of up to £60,000 + stock + benefits is offered.

This employer, based in central Bristol, is developing innovative software solutions that will power the future of network technology. Well established and with already an enviable reputation for developing cutting edge software products this company is set to expand significantly in 2017 and is looking for a number of experienced Java Software Engineers or Java Developers to join their team. This role will involve working in a small team to design and develop ICT networking software as well as analyse third party and open source solutions.

Applicants should have strong network product development experience using Java and Linux in an Agile environment along with some exposure to Python. Any additional experience with Network Function Visualisation, Software Defined Networking and/or OpenDaylight would be a significant advantage.

This will prove to be an interesting and challenge role in equal measures, you will be given the opportunity to using your existing expertise whilst developing new skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
