An 'Outstanding Permanent, full-time Biology Teacher who is confident and capable of teaching up to KS5. Ideally, you’ll have a proven track record of raising attainment, be comfortable teaching creative and engaging lessons to A Level students with high expectations, and be committed to developing your career in a fast paced, dynamic environment. If you’re an NQT, along with your PPA time, you’ll get additional support time to make sure you’re on track, and in your first year A Level teaching will be at a minimum until you and the school are confident in your abilities - this by no way means you won’t have the confidence of the school, it means they want to make sure you can teach at a high level without getting additional stress whilst doing your NQT year. As well as teaching Biology as your specialism, you will also be required to teach general Science to KS4, so please bear this in mind.
