We are a leading market researcher who are leading the way in the field of agricultural and animal health research. We have particular expertise in crop protection, fertilisers and animal health and we pride ourselves on providing best-in-class technologies and methodologies whilst building upon our long history of continuous innovation. We are now looking to recruit a Senior IT Manager to manage our infrastructure function.
Your new role
Taking full ownership and reporting directly to the Senior Director of IT, you will manage our 3rd party service desk suppliers and ensure that we are providing outstanding support to our clients and users. You will assume budgetary responsibility for all service desk functions including software, hardware and staffing whilst making strategic advancements to our infrastructure such as bringing our service desk in-house.
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful applicant for this role you will display expertise as a seasoned IT Leader. You will utilise your deep understanding of service desk technologies and processes to advise senior stakeholders and manage our external suppliers. Previous experience of budget management, project management and service improvement will all prove critical to your success, as will exposure to other large, multi-site operations.
