Telesales Executive

Location: Nottingham

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-6pm, 42.5 hours

Salary: up to £21,000 per annum dependent on experience

Our aim is to provide our customers with the right products at the best possible prices in order to meet their business needs. The company offers thousands of products covering all major categories from catering, grocery, licensed and soft drinks, frozen, chilled and fresh produce.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced telesales executive to work within our head office team in Nottingham.

The Role:

* To work as part of the telesales team to ensure customers receive high levels of customer service.
* To process customer orders.
* Establish new and maintain existing customer relationships, including answering questions or enquiries from customers and manage their requirements.
* To make outgoing and take incoming telephone calls to and from current and new customers.
* Maximise the sales opportunities from customers by analysing their purchases, identifying missing lines out of key customer specific product categories and recommending and upselling additional lines.
* Advise customers on forthcoming promotions, products and service developments specific to the customer type.
* Cold-calling by telephone, identifying and contacting numerous potential customers daily.
* Achievement of cold-calling targets as directed by Head of Business Development/Telesales Supervisor.
* Generating new business.
* Helping customers.
* Up-selling.
* Listening to customer requirements.
* Establish excellent interpersonal relationships with Hyperama customers, employees and outside agencies.
* Liaise with a sales manager to provide feedback on issues and developments.
* To provide administrative support as required.
* Occasional tasks from the office at the discretion of the management and any additional ad-hoc duties as required.

The Candidate:

You will be highly organised and proactive with a self-motivated approach. You will be a team player and must have excellent communication skills. In addition you will have:
*Previous experience of telesales, preferably in a food environment
*Experience of using all Microsoft packages proficiently
*The ability to manage your own workload and multitask effectively
*An excellent telephone manner
*The ability to communicate with a diverse range of customers and internal staff.
*A bubbly and outgoing personality
