A well established Online Advertising business is recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to become part of their Finance Team and join a major market leader.

Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager, your duties as the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be as follows:

- Accurately post Invoices against Purchase Orders where applicable and effectively assist with the resolution of matching discrepancies.
- Obtain authorisation and coding for all non-Purchase Order Invoices before accurately inputting into the ERP system.
- Reconcile supplier statements on a regular basis and take action as appropriate.
- Investigate and resolve any purchase ledger queries by liaising with suppliers and the business buyers, ensuring the list of queried Invoices is minimal.
- Preparing weekly payment runs, ensuring that suppliers are paid according to credit terms.
- Assist the Purchase Ledger Manager with any other purchase ledger duties as required.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

- At least 2 years' Accounts Payable experience.
- You will have previous experience working in one of the following roles: Purchase Ledger Clerk, Purchase Ledger Assistant / Administrator, Accounts Assistant.
- Excellent numeracy and problem solving skills.
- Basic accounting knowledge (double entry bookkeeping, accounts reconciliation) is advantageous.
- Accurate with excellent attention to detail.
- Good people skills in order to build strong relationships with businesses and external partners.
- Ability to work and deliver under pressure.
- Good communicator, excellent telephone manner and able to influence others.
- High level of customer service awareness.
- Good Excel skills are desirable and competency with ERP systems is essential.
