1st Line Support - Newcastle upon-Tyne - Up to £22,000

I am looking for a 1st Line Support Technician with good customer service skills and an interest in IT to join a well-established Financial Services company in Newcastle upon Tyne . This is an excellent starter role for a talented individual with a keen interest in IT and providing excellent customer service who is looking to start their career in IT.

You will be responsible for:

Providing telephone support to clients

Maintaining a relationship with clients until their issues are resolved

Information Gathering to ensure you and other teams have enough information to solve issues

Resolving as many requests and incidents as possible each day

Provide training to end clients to enhance their knowledge of the system.

Identify any recurring problems in order to highlight potential problems

You will need:

Excellent communication skills with a good telephone manner

Ability to ask the right questions in order to gain an understanding of the urgency and impact of the issues reported

Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple issues

The ability to work under deadline according to SLA's

An interest in learning new technologies
