My client is a large scale global organisation who are in a period of rapid expansion due to customer demand. They are market leaders in their domain and hold an impressive portfolio of global clients and products. They are looking for a Junior Product Owner to work within the Extract Team to manage the business process of data delivery from concept to support.
You will be responsible for scoping and prioritising Extract backlog items with customers and key account managers and direct the PL/SQL development team to deliver business requirements. You will transform customer requirements into SQL queries/views and then create supporting documentation to their products, working with the marketing, sales teams and external customers. You will provide support to all entities for providing bulk index files and delivering cross boarder bulk data extractions and manage continuous data delivery and schedules.
To be successful for this role you will need excellent communication skills in order to liaise with large clients on an international basis and to build roust and effective relationships with internal teams and key stakeholders. You will need to be able to transform client requirements into work items and have an excellent knowledge of the full Project lifecycle. You must have the ability to think on your feet and creatively problem solve.
Ideally you will have an understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and have experience of data concepts and Oracle SQL Developer or SQL Management Studio.
