Are you looking for a highly commercial role that aids decision making? Reporting directly into the Global Head of Finance this varied role represents an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to join a growing organisation.

Strong interpersonal skills are required as there is a heavy bias on influencing non-finance department leads as well as staff at all levels within the business.

Technical responsibilities of the role include:

Month End Process, including Variance analysis - ensure correct accounting, accruals and revenue recognition. Income statement analysis including liaising with departmental managers.
Monthly operating report - produce and submit monthly reports to Corporate Finance adhering to deadlines.
Balance sheet reconciliation review.
Preparation of Forecasts (updated monthly) and Budgets (annually) - including co-ordination with departmental managers.
Revenue forecasting on a weekly basis.
Department Reviews - financial reviews of departmental costs compared to budget, review with relevant managers and suggest areas for cost control/improvement.
Expense Control - liaise with departmental managers to ensure cost control and suggest ways to improve.
Review of Financial Statement for mistakes and misstatements.
Inventory control - reconciliation to accounting system and managing stock and property plant and equipment counts.
Comment on agreements and support CAPEX expenditure.
Hedging strategies - reviewing cash flow forecasts and evaluating the need for hedges, liaising with Corporate Treasury.

The successful candidate is likely to be degree educated with a recognised accounting qualification who has relevant reporting experience gained in a fast paced environment.
