My client is looking to recruit an ambitious Sales Manager to join their well established and successful sales, account management and retentions function in north Manchester!

Sales Manager

Due to continuous expansion and huge success my client are looking for a sales manager to work alongside their existing senior management team. The primary objective of the sales manager is to lead their team managers and account managers to ensure the continuous growth of the department in line with company goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of the activating in an sales and account management department
  • Ensure effectiveness, robustness and transparency of the operations processes by analysis of performance and drive continuous process improvements
  • Motivate and effectively performance manage Team Managers to drive quality standards
  • Reporting in to senior business management, driving revenue growth through the sales office
  • Devising and implementing new sales strategies
  • Managing and developing the operational relationships
  • Identifying KPI variances and developing action plans
  • Providing your team with the training, coaching and development required to be successful
  • Monitoring Telephone stats
  • Increasing staff morale and ensuring staff development

Requirements for the Sales Manager

  • Previous experience of managing successful account management and retentions function
  • Experience in working in a consultative sales environment
  • Demonstrable management experience leading both team managers and account managers
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage your time effectively and work on your own initiative
  • Excellent analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated, ambitious and determined
  • Ability manage and drive performance
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Prioritise the best sales opportunities for your team to focus on
  • Motivating your team to deliver results
  • Adherence to HR guidelines
  • Demonstrable experience and fully accountable for end to end people management, including performance management, absence management, and staff development
