Finance Manager (6 month maternity cover)

Our client, an established, European leading company within their field are looking to quickly recruit an immediately available Finance Manager to join its Finance team. This role involves leading and managing the general ledger and systems and reporting team. The need for recruiting this role has arisen due to maternity leave of the existing Finance Manager.

Key responsibilities:
-Lead the general ledger and systems and reporting team
-Identify and implement process improvements to ensure the streamlining of all elements of financial processes.
-Work with local finance departments to capture and post all monthly postings Conduct a monthly balance sheet review
-Plan and coordinate work to ensure a successful monthly, quarterly and full year close in line with group standing instructions
-Work closely with the Financial Controller to plan and ensure a successful external audit per Local (and any required French) GAAP. Also to ensure that the external auditors have sufficient information to carry out their review
-Management and maintain the local reporting tools e.g. TM1
-Submit UK Group VAT return and other reporting

What we are looking for:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with PQE
-Experience with managing a team
-Immediately Available
-Logistics or European Headquartered experience is desirable
-Strong track record in financial management and financial control
