Semi Senior - Practice
Our client, a well-established professional service business with a strong local reputation built on high standards of service and currently enjoying a period of growth.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a highly reputable and successful business services team. Working within a progressive finance business, the ideal individual will have previous accounts experience from within a practice environment.
The main duties of the position are to include:
- To prepare accounts from client records using Caseware To deal with initial queries on accounts (by phone, email or letter) To finalise accounts after review
- To draft tax computations
- To complete personal tax returns Control of own assignment time within pre-determined budget Professional liaison with client and/or client’s staff Completion of work to the satisfaction of the Supervisor/Manager Accounts finalisation, file completion and tax computations Adhoc management accounting assignments
- Not responsible for other team members directly on arrival, but in due course required to assist new trainees and less experienced members in the team.
