**Sous Chef - Contract Caterer (Leisure) - Tunbridge Wells - £24,000pa - Day Time Shifts!**

Work life balance... Three words that do not often come up in a chef's vocabulary, yet this is exactly what this position is offering! With shifts all during day time hours from 7am - 5pm this is a great way for a Chef to continue working with fresh food, cooked to the highest standards and still have time for family life outside work.

As a Sous Chef you will be involved in all aspects of the kitchen management including motivating and leading the team, participating in busy services, ensuring food standards are kept high, ordering and supplier liaison, training and coaching more junior staff, potential for putting your ideas forward for the menu as well as ensuring all HACCAP and COSHH requirements.

Experience in a similar contract catering role is preferential, potentially in a hotel or event catering but certainly working with fresh food. You will need to show drive, ambition and an ability to motivate and nurture talent within the team.
