Application Support Analyst

London - Salary £55K

Leading professional services organisation is recruiting an application support analyst, responsible for 3rd client issues and management on their EMEA clients.

You will interact with clients and technical teams to resolve technical application issues on applications. Communication is an essential part of the role, you are expected to provide a high level of customer service by communicating estimated fix times to customers and respond to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Experience required:

  • 5+ years technical support or related customer service experience in a software environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills with expertise in troubleshooting and solving complex problems
  • Excellent organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of computer hardware and network operating systems and expertise in troubleshooting hardware and software compatibility issues across various configurations

Key skills required:

  • Proficient technical knowledge of MS-Windows, MS SQL Server and concepts of SQL databases including advanced query analysis and/or engine optimization
  • .NET Technologies
  • IIS
  • Scripting (VBA, Korn Shell)
  • Informix 4GL
  • Reporting tools
