Are you a PHP Developer who wants to join an award winning, market leading organisation?

Based in Birmingham with fantastic transport links my client requires an enthusiastic, talented LAMP stack Developer with commercial experience developing web applications.

As a PHP Developer you will become a part of newly formed SCRUM team responsible for enhancing and maintaining PHP web applications within the product suite.

PHP Developer key responsibilities:

• Develop Web applications using PHP, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript utilising the CodeIgniter framework.

• Integrate applications with the wider product suite consuming RESTful APIs.

• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies; contributing to software planning and design.

• Ensure that projects remain on target, working with the SCRUM Master to identify and resolve impediments as part of a well-formed SCRUM team.

• Work collaboratively and have a willingness to take responsibility for your own development and that of the whole team.

• Be committed to self-improvement and learning of new technology.

The successful PHP Developer will need the following skillset:

• Highly capable LAMP stack developer

• HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery

• CodeIgniter framework

• SOLID principles

• RESTful API integrations

• Unit Testing

• GIT Source Control

• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

The successful PHP Developer can expect a salary of between £30,000 and £38,000 which comes with the following benefits:
