Audit & Accounts Semi Senior
Audit and Accounts Semi Senior job in Scunthorpe for an ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified Semi Senior Accountant with extensive experience within a public practice accountancy firm.
Ideally the Audit and Accounts Semi Senior will be Lincolnshire based, hold ACCA/ACA qualified or part qualification with a minimum of two years’ experience working for an accountancy firm where they have undertaken audit and accounting work. You will be used to providing Audit, Taxation, Accounting and Business advisory services to a wide variety of clients. Additionally, you will need to be confident in communicating with clients and managing deadlines.
Due to our client’s ongoing expansion, we are seeking a Semi Senior Accountant who has a minimum of two years’ Audit experience to join an experienced accountancy firm.
The successful Audit and Accounts Semi Senior will provide a variety of different accountancy services to a large and varied portfolio of clients. The job role will be 50:50 split between Audit and Accounts for a range of corporate clients. The successful applicant will need to be confident in dealing face to face with clients as well as able to write fluently and articulately.
Our client is looking for an Audit and Accounts Semi Senior who has the knowledge of accounting and auditing matters, with the ability to integrate with the existing team quickly whilst working independently. In addition, the Audit and Accounts Semi Senior should be used to working under pressure and to deadlines, as well as having strong relationship building skills to maintain the existing client base.

The Audit and Accounts Semi Senior Accountant job will include:
• Taking managerial responsibility for more junior members of staff
• Assisting with the planning and completion of audits for a wide and varied client portfolio
• Attending the post audit client meetings
• Assisting with the training and development needs of more junior accountants
• Overseeing the management of client files.
