Our client, a fantastic organisation based in Godalming, Surrey is currently recruiting for a Trainee Service Desk Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will provide a 1st class IT support service to internal and external customers / end users providing support around networks, storage and backup solutions.

*** Training and progression is key to this role. You will be put through an ITIL foundation course which will be paid for to enable you to thrive and grow within the IT sector ***

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing proactive technical support to clients, customers and end users
  • Supporting other team members within the technical team
  • Adhering to escalation and call management processes and procedures
  • Attend training courses covering products and technologies
  • Maintaining and improving personal knowledge of technologies



Key Skills and experience:

  • A passion for technology and IT is essential
  • A drive to succeed, grow and excel within an IT role is essential
  • Outstanding customer service and the ability to liaise with stakeholders of all levels
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
  • A qualification in IT would be highly advantageous

Please note this role works on a 24/7 shift pattern working 4 days on 2 days off. Shifts consist of:
6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am
