Howarth Morris are excited to be recruiting for a £multmillion turnover, rapidly growing manufacturing company based near Wigan. Our client is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join the team at their HQ.The business has gone from strength to strength in recent years through strategic acquisitions and investment in their factory unit and staff. This role will be reporting to the Credit Manager and represents an exciting platform for someone who is bright, ambitious and highly motivated to play an integral role in the business. Responsibilities will include:

- Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email and letter within agreed time-scales
- Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
- Meet cash and debtor day targets as set by the Company
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
- Credit scoring and setting credit limits
- Chasing remittances and aged debt
- Invoice queries
- Cash allocation
- Ad-hoc duties
- Query resolution

The successful candidate must have a proven track record of working in Credit Control and retrieving debt. The candidate must also possess the ability to work efficiently as part of a team, have confidence allocating cash, have excellent attention to detail and have good Excel skills.
