Lead Developer C#.NET, MVC, SQL, JQuery (full stack) Liverpool

Liverpool, Merseyside. Commutable via Wigan, Warrington, Lancashire

£40,000 pa - £50,000 pa + Great Benefits Package

Established, innovative and growing / security solutions house, with impressive private and public sector client base requires experienced C# Web Developer to join a product and technology team supporting the design and creation of industry leading products.


5/6 years + C# .net experience in a commercial development environment (including LINQ, generics etc)

Excellent knowledge of RDMS most importantly SQL Server

Solid Knowledge and experience with Visual Studio 2008 - 2015

Experience of working with Microsoft Web Development Stack, C#.NET, SQL Server, MVC Web Forms (ideally with Razor) HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery (or similar MVC Skype JavaScript Frameworks)

Experience of implementing Web services (ASP.NET WebAPI, WCF)

Experience of writing C#.Net automated tests (Unit, Integration)

Ability to lead own work packages and coach less senior developers in a Snr position in the team


Knowledge/Experience of bio-metrics

Experience of mobile device development

Experience of working with modern C# asynchronous patterns (Tasks, async/await)

Experience of writing non C# tests (JavaScript, SQL, UI)

Experience of working with SQL Server Reporting Services

Experience of working with desktop technologies (WinForms, WPF, UWP, Windows Services)

Experience of development with vendor SDK's

Experience of writing software for cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS)

Use and/or knowledge of domain driven design (enterprise architecture) and practical use of OOP design patterns

The Role:

Producing clear and accurate design documentation which matches client requirements and meets industry standards
Ensuring design patterns are being followed and implemented correctly when developing solutions
Producing clear and accurate code that complies with design documentation and internal standards
Contribute in all aspects of the development life-cycle (analysis, design, development, implementation and support)
Provide regular, accurate and timely status reports to managers relating to project status and issues
Actively contribute to design and SCRUM meetings
Work closely with other developers, system architects and commercial team, to discuss client's IT problems and/or requirements
