Full Time

Ultimate Performance is known as the world’s leading Personal Training company. We have our own private gyms on four different continents and are the acknowledged industry leader in results focused Personal Training.

We are looking for a second salesperson to work in our busy central London gyms to deal with prospective client consultations.

The job does not involve client origination or lead generation, this is not a "selling on the gym floor" job, instead the leads will be heavily filtered and hand delivered to you for face-to-face consultations where you will sell 6 or 12 week Personal Training packages of values up to £5,000.

If any of the following criteria fit you then please skip over this job advert and do not apply -

1) As a business, we do not suffer fools.

Make a mistake once and you’re forgiven. Make the same mistake twice and we have a problem. If you can’t take constructive criticism then you’d hate working for us.

And whilst a lot of people may think that they are robust enough to take well meaning advice on the chin, most are not if they look within themselves in a truly honest fashion. Please think hard.

2) You cannot think for yourself.

We are not a huge corporate company with a rigid hierarchy and we need you to be able to think on your feet at times.

Many people claim to like this lack of structure but when presented with the reality of it they flounder and want to swim back to their comfort zone.

Our way is arguably more fun and dynamic, but it can be more stressful and isn’t right for the mindset of many people from corporate backgrounds.

3) You are a nine to fiver.

We want you to have a life, but working for us means emails at all hours and the automatic assumption that your work is a huge priority in your life. If you need to attend your child’s graduation ceremony then time away is fine pretty much no matter what, but if something is urgent and you need to skip dinner with your better half to hit a deadline then cancelled dinner and time off on another day is the expected response.

4) You are a maverick.

We want free thinkers who aren’t frightened to tell us what’s on their mind and have ideas of their own. However, if you have to run off with your own ideas all the time then this won’t work.

We have a strong culture and a clear and very forthright way of marketing ourselves, and we are honest and clear on that in the way we present ourselves.

You need to be a team player who is completely comfortable with executing the team’s vision.

Benefits include a basic salary of £25k per annum with an OTE of between £35K-£50K in the first year with UP.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and fast growing business, and develop your skills within a talented and passionate team.
