We have a fantastic opportunity for a 2nd/3rd line Support Engineer to join a leading IT Support company in Daventry to provide technical support to their Nationwide customer base, including installation and migration services. The ideal Candidate will have a passion for Microsoft technologies, with strong commercial experience with Exchange, AD, etc (MS certification would be advantageous, although not essential)
Utilising your experience of either onsite IT projects work or working as a Field Engineer, you'll ideally have experience of multiple installations of Exchange Server 2007/10/12 or SBS 2008 / 11, and providing onsite 2nd line support thereafter including general Microsoft, Active Directory, and Exchange / troubleshooting etc.
Experience with Routers / Firewalls (Watchguard / Cisco / draytek), Backup software (Backup Exec - Veeam) and Antivrus Software (Sophos - Symantec) would be highly beneficial, along with Office 365. It is essential you have supported VMWare and Hyper-V, and have a genuine interest in virtual technologies moving forward.
