Java Developer - Business Critical Application

Java Developer Mid to Senior is required to work with a global financial publishing company. As a Java Developer on this team you will sit horizontally across all business units within the company. Working on complex, business critical, low latency search applications that will be relied upon by millions of user globally.

In addition you will be building complex machine learning platforms, integrated with multiple Big Data sources that will provide improved accuracy and insight.
This role will offer you the chance to gain exposure to Machine Learning and Big Data. You will have top quality training opportunities and also as a Java Developer coming in there is the opportunity to progress and work across other teams within this business.

For this role you will need to be able to demonstrate that you are comfortable with a face paced deployment environment. Technically you will need experience with Java 8, Elasticsearch, REST and Spring. Any exposure to any Big Data tech like Hadoop or Machine Learning tech such as Azure Machine Learning will be nice but by no mean essential (as you will be trained on these).
