Join the Premium Credit IT team as a Digital Trainee where over three to four years we offer fantastic work in the areas of Coding, Testing, Project Management, Business Analysis, and Cyber Security including a Degree Apprenticeship, before you choose where to specialise as part of a long-term career in Fintech.

Premium Credit is a regulated financial services business, which is becoming increasingly digital, serving over 2.5m customers and processing over 2.5 transactions per second. 2016 was a significant year of IT change, including re-platforming our core product administration system. Like many organisations, we replaced our mainframe legacy platform with a modern system built on a scalable and highly resilient Microsoft architecture, ready for the next 10 years as a digital business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to undertake this exceptional role at a turning point in our evolution. Chances to learn from great people, earn much more than an apprentice wage and obtain a degree at the same time do not come along every day, so this should be grasped with both hands.

As a Digital Trainee, you will learn from a range of experienced IT and digital professionals and work on projects that will have a real impact on our success.

Our technology is based on Microsoft platforms and applications. They allow us to deliver great services much more quickly and efficiently, with solutions that are scalable and future proof.

Interested? Whilst no specific IT experience is needed, to be considered, you’ll need:

- At least two A levels at grade C or above or equivalent, such as a BTEC DMM
- GCSEs in English Language and Maths at grade C or above

We’re also interested in hearing from candidates who do not meet the above requirements, but have workplace experience or recognised prior learning.

Eager to learn and passionate about tech, as a Digital Trainee, you’ll have great communication skills and a positive, 'can do’ attitude.

The degree course will start in September 2017 and you will gain your BSc (Hons) Digital & Technology Solutions degree with the University of Winchester.

You’ll spend one day a week studying at the University of Winchester. We will cover all reasonable travel expenses, which may include pool car costs, train and bus tickets or coach costs, so you can focus on pursuing your ambitions.
