Product Development Test Analyst (Insurance)
Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex
Salary: £ 25,000 - £ 30,000 Excellent Benefits

Award winning and recognised forwarding thinking insurance company with a strong presence in the UK specialist motor insurance markets, principally known for its broker distributed motor insurance products are seeking to recruit a Product Development Test Analyst to join an Insurance product testing team based in Haywards Heath. Working within the Product Development team, the successful applicant will be responsible for the software testing on new developments and maintenance of existing and new insurance products across a wide range of distribution channels.

A key element of your role will be responsibility for ensuring that all developments and changes are tested in accordance with product specifications and ensuring any errors or issues identified throughout the testing cycle are resolved and brought to a satisfactory conclusion. Full training will be provided and is an excellent opportunity to be part of a recognised Sunday Times Top 100 company with Investors in People `Gold` and `Champion` statuses.


• Effectively control multiple tasks / projects to a high standard and within specific timescales
• Build effective relationships with key stakeholders within the business and with external third parties, in order to deliver solutions that meet the business requirements for each party
• Develop and maintain project documentation such as test plan / scripts, risk and issue logs
• Take assigned projects from concept through to final implementation
• Problem assessment and prioritisation
• Attention to detail
• Ability to understand and respond to business demands in a rapidly changing business environment

Essential Skills:

  • Experience within a Software Testing, Quality Assurance or Product Development environment
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• IT literate
• Ability to quickly learn various internal / external insurance processing systems and applications
