Service Manager / Care Home Manager
Edinburgh
Salary £53,000 - £55,000 per annum + Up to 20% Bonus
We are looking for a Service Manager for a home that provides personalised nursing care for up to 24 older people as well as up to 43 adults with mental health and behaviours conditions.
Responsibilities:
oEnsuring all staff deliver positive and measurable outcomes for the people we support
oMaintain compliance with regulatory requirements and national minimum standards
oEnsure all needs of the people we support are identified and their assessed needs met and supported by the implementation of appropriate regular reviewed Support Plans and risk assessments
oEnsure the NMC Code of Conduct is adhered to
oAdhered to company policies and procedures
oEnsure the service and its resources' are managed effectively, economically and efficiently
oMaintain effective budgetary management and control and achieve profitability
oPrepare and submit all budgetary and other financial information as directed
oEnsure staff receive required levels of supervision, training and support to ensure that the needs of both the people support

Job Requirements
oRGN / RMN qualified with valid NMC PIN preferred but we will also consider applicants with social care experience at management level provided they are registered with SSSC and hold SVQ4 and Managers Award
oKnowledge of the local area would be an advantage as we work closely with Dumfries and Galloway Council
oExperience of a person centered approach to deliver positive outcomes for the people we support
oDemonstrable management experience
oExperience of developing a service
oA desire and commitment to deliver a quality service to the people we support
oFlexible and adaptable with an ability to problem solve
oExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
