An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrician to join the Building Works Service, based at our Marsh Lane Depot in Lymington. As part of a friendly and professional in-house workforce you will be responsible for the delivery of Planned and Reactive Maintenance works on the Council Housing stock, and public buildings throughout the district.

The successful candidate will be highly skilled and experienced in all aspects of electrical works, including installation, repairs, fault finding, analysis and diagnosis on both domestic and commercial electrical systems.

The ability to work unsupervised and in accordance with strict Health & Safety guidelines is also essential.

The right candidate will have completed C&G 2382 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations and be qualified to BS7671 17th Edition IET Wiring Regulations, C&G 2391 Electrical Installations, C&G 2393 Building Regulations for Electrical Installation in Dwellings, C&G 2377 Electrical Equipment Maintenance and Testing and have a minimum of 4 years post qualification electrical related experience. Registration of the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme or similar would be desirable.
