Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Birmingham City Centre

Salary: £15,000 - £20,000 per annum (dependant on experience) + Commission

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Role:

Our Client is looking for a Telesales (office-based) Business Development Executive. You will join a driven, award winning and close-knit team that is targeted on providing market leading specialist finance solutions to both direct clients and finance professionals. They are looking for somebody that has personality and drive that is keen to progress and help exceed their ambitious and high reaching growth targets.

The Company is already seen as one of the market leading Specialist Finance Brokerages in the UK. In order to achieve their goals, they want somebody that is very sales focused, highly motivated with excellent communication skills and a proactive can do attitude.

Base location: City Centre Birmingham

You will be joining a fast growing company that has a reputation for providing excellent customer service, hard-working but in a friendly and fun environment.

What you will do:

  • Source new business prospects from the professional intermediary market
  • Relationship management for existing contacts and clients
  • Provide support to the relevant departments when necessary
  • Lead a robust pipeline of business prospects and collaborate with the Head of Distribution to generate new opportunities
  • Utilise in house data and external resource to establish key decision makers and to promote and establish the brand in the UK specialist finance market
  • Own your targets and ensure you consistently hit them to a high quality
  • Outbound calls to both existing customers and brokers and new prospects circa 50 per day
  • Excel in a high-pressure environment with achievable targets, reflected in a highly competitive commission structure
  • Success measures: Opportunities generated, Future prospects qualified, New business enquiries

  • Successful track record of sales using the telephone in a target - driven environment
  • Desirable: Experience or knowledge of the UK mortgage or specialist finance sector
  • Excited to work in a phone based sales environment with structured targets
  • Hunger to win, highly resilient, self-starter; Thrives in a challenging environment
  • Motivated to earn through consistently achieving and exceeding personal expectations
  • Competencies: Consultative selling ,Relationship building ,Strong communicator, Ambitious, Results oriented
