An industry leading manufacturer that has been operating for almost 30 years and is part of a large international group structure is looking for a passionate IT Support Engineer (1st - 3rd line) / Co-ordinator to be based in the Sandbach area, Cheshire (commutable from parts of Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Yorkshire).

The successful candidate will be the principal on-site technician responsible for the maintenance of the IT infrastructure including hardware, software, network and business critical bespoke applications / reports. Duties will include providing technical on-site support, liaising between global IT team, 3rd party resources and on-site users as well as assisting with various IT projects.

In order to be suitable for this position you will have experience working in an IT Support Engineer, IT Co-ordinator, Desktop Support Engineer or similar role with proven 1st - 3rd line technical support experience. It is essential to have broad technical knowledge including networking, Active Directory, Hardware, Windows 2008 / 2012 Server (general administration), VMWare and SQL Server (basic support skills). The ideal candidate will also have some VBA / macro experience and ideally some exposure to the industrial / manufacturing sector.

This is an excellent opportunity that would suit determined and motivated candidates. This IT Support Engineer (1st - 3rd line) / Co-ordinator role is paying up to £30,000 depending on experience plus benefits including non-contributory pension, BUPA, Death in Service Insurance and 25 days holiday.
