About the IT Project Manager Role:

As project management you will be responsible for the successful delivery of cross cutting projects in support of growing the Pass My Parcel business. These projects will develop new innovative services for our clients and you will be responsible for their delivery across our business.

At the core of the projects will be the delivery of technology solutions and your focus will be managing the successful implementation and adoption of this technology into our business and our clients. You will be comfortable working across operational, commercial and technical teams as well as client facing.

About You:

  • Clearly evidenced professional project expertise and a structured approach to project practice gained through substantial experience of working at a management level within a successful project or software delivery function (typically gained through 5 or more years’ experience)
  • Holds relevant professional qualifications such as Prince 2
  • A strong track record of success in project delivery within a software development environment
  • Possesses strong analytical skills with the ability to generate meaningful conclusions from multiple complex data sources
  • Computer literate and comfortable in the use of technology and IT systems, including a high degree of knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience of working with and influencing internal and external senior business stakeholders
  • Excellent all-round communications skills including:
    • Inspiring trust and influencing
    • Communicating information in a clear and commercial manner
    • Adapting style and content for different audiences
  • Demonstrating a confident, credible and accomplished presentation style
  • Excellent business acumen and strong commercial and financial awareness, including previous experience of compiling and managing of budgets, business plans and strategy
  • Highly effective in driving delivery when working with ambiguity and changing commercial drivers
  • Of a strategic mind set, able to develop new strategies and align plans with wider business objectives
  • Passionate and driven by delivering for the customer with a background in driving teams forward within a customer-focused business
  • Able to work at pace whilst maintaining an accurate, high quality output
  • Highly organised with a well-developed approach to prioritisation

Desirable:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent
  • Previous experience within the supply chain / logistic industry
