Java Developer (J2EE / Spring / JS), Sheffield, £50K

A new requirement for a Java Developer to come and join a leading software house within their Java application development and integration team based city centre Sheffield.

As a Java Developer your focus is always going to be on delivering complex and business-critical software while working in the latest Java technologies and you could be working in a Java developer and work between the back-end core team or the front-end web services team.

Your main technical skills will cover most if not all.

  • Work within complex enterprise environments using Java J2EE
  • Working across SDLC including analysis, design, coding and implementation and basic testing using JUnit
  • Awareness of design patterns SOA, API's and Javascript frameworks
  • Strong OO design knowledge and development experience.
  • Agile Methodologies - including SCRUM / XP.
  • XML, JSON, JAXB, Spring,

Training will be offered and tailored to your experience and covers everything from SCJP to specific 'Professional Java Programme' to industry standard architecture qualifications.
