Position: Branch Manager 
Location: Preston, Lancashire 
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent with probationary period 
Salary: £37k circa depending on experience

About the role: 

They are seeking a Branch Manager for their drainage division to be responsible for its day-to-day running and leading the expansion of the division to provide the full range of drainage services to their domestic and commercial client base. 

The role has overall responsibility of leading the Operations team whose role is to plan, mobilising, managing reactive attendance crew's and planned maintenance crews across a range of maintenance and emergency drainage related issues / projects. 

The successful candidate will ensure that the branch sales levels, costings and controlled spending levels are achieved to enable the operating teams to meet customer demand, hit productivity targets and achieve profit budgets. Supported by Administration, Sales and Operations teams this role requires a leader to steer the team on a successful path as well as having a hands-on approach. 

About you: 

The ideal candidate will have leadership and management experience, strong commercial and sales knowledge along with the ability to manage profit and achieve targets. You will have a great focus on customer service and an understanding of a reactive service delivery industry. 

The Regional Manager needs to be organised and reactive to the needs of a varied client base in the Industrial, Commercial, Retail and Domestic sectors amongst others. 

Knowledge of health and safety is essential, and experience within the drainage, construction, civil engineering, waste or utilities, service industry or reactive maintenance industries would be an advantage. You must also be IT literate and hold a full driving licence.
