SALARY: £15,000 - £16,000

The Company
I am currently recruiting for the role of a Rewind Operator with a business who has been trading for over 30 years and currently turns over £8.5 million. My client is a privately owned self-adhesive label manufacturer who operate from several sites around the UK. They currently work with a number of highly recognisable brands such as "Soap and Glory" and "ghd".

The Role
The vacancy has arisen due the company recently expanding by investing in a new factory which is intended to be refurbished into a state of the art production facility to bring all teams together. As a Rewind Operator you will be expected to set up, operate, monitor and maintain all rewinding equipment. Part of this will be handling rolls of labels as they come of the rewinder and then packing these label rolls into boxes and stacking on pallets.

The Person
An ideal candidate for a Rewind Operator roll doesn't require any specific experience however some basic skills are needed such as:
*Preferable experience working in a warehouse environment
*Excellent communication skills
*Impeccable attention to detail
*Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal English
*Ability to follow organised instructions
* Ability to meet the physical demands of the job such as lifting heavy equipment
*Basic mathematical skills
*Adherence to set health and safety procedures
*Full UK driving license

The Benefits
A successful candidate for the Rewind Operator role could expect a basic salary of between £15,000-£16,000 as well as a 20% shift allowance and the potential to see labels you've worked on showcased on every day products in high street shops and supermarkets.
