Service Delivery Manager - Payments
Location: Central London (near Cannon Street)
Salary: up to £70k + benefits

An opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Service Delivery Manager from a technical background to join the Service Operations team for a successful and cutting edge mobile payments company based in Central London.

This role is part of a small team of 4 in Service Operations so there is a genuine requirement to be hands-on and involved in all elements of service delivery. The product and company are in their early stages so there is a real start-up feel to the company, meaning everyone has to pitch in when required. As a result,this role will be well suited to anyone who prefers to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in, and wouldn't be as suitable for someone who has always worked in very hierarchical organisations.

The challenge of this role is the 24/7, high availability nature of the application, meaning that any time there is a major incident it has a major impact on the users. As such, they are passionate about root cause analysis and effective incident resolution to ensure that problems do not reoccur.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience in payments, or a similar high availability environment
- Experience working in a smaller team / organisation with a flat structure
- Technical background (worked your way up through Technical Support etc)
- Experience in effective incident resolution / problem management
- Down to earth personality, willing to undertake any task to get the job done!
