Service Desk Engineer, 2nd Line, paying up to £30k is required by a global insurance Company from their base near Gloucester. As the world's leader in their field, the Company are proud of their products and share this pride with the advanced IT infrastructure that supports the business which is why they are seeking a talented individual to add value to the Service Delivery.

As the Senior Service Desk Engineer, 2nd Line Engineer you will be passionate about service delivery, be a keen problem solver and have the ability to prioritise and make key business decisions. This is an exciting time for the IT infrastructure as the Company embark on a number of upgrade projects which will give the infrastructure some of the sharpest technology on the market and as the Senior Service Desk Engineer you will have experience with a range of technologies on an infrastructure that supports multiple locations throughout Europe.

As Service Desk Engineer, you will ideally have 4 years + experience with the following technologies:
Windows XP / Windows 7
Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016
Office 365 and Skype support and administration
Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop
Active Directory
VMWare administration

The ideal candidate will also have an MCSE and be ITIL certified.

Excellent communication skills are essential as are a cheerful and friendly personality and great team playing skills.

For the right person the Company will pay up to £30k as well as offer a range of benefits. The role will require on call availability.
