Elite HR are delighted to be working with a well-respected national retailer as they recruit a Data Analyst to join their team. This is a permanent position located in Southampton, supporting the team through an important transitional phase, as they review all systems and processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating HR Management Information requirements, developing and maintaining a suite of HR Dashboards and Management Information reports, providing trends/insight analysis relating to people to help the business understand and drive performance.
To be brilliant in this role, you will have previous experience of working in an HR environment. You will be proactive and structured in your approach and have great attention to detail, applying this to everything that you do. Your work will be critical to the success of the function and you will understand this, taking pride and accountability for the data and analysis that you produce for the business.
You will be handling data about people and will have a clear understanding of the importance of this and the impact of getting it wrong. You will maintain, manage and analyse core employee data, produce monthly reports to improve operational performance, produce data to aid recruitment, performance review and manage talent. You will also support future systems development.
Liaising with internal stakeholders, you will be a good communicator, great at building effective working relationships, often across borders/cultures. You will have the ability to question and drill down with stakeholders to gain a clear understanding of what they need from data and you will be able to convey complex information in a clear and concise way. You will be an advanced user of Excel and SAP HR systems and ideally you will have a working knowledge of relevant HR legislation, policies and data protection requirements.
