I am recruiting for experienced Lead Software Developer on behalf of a Global Travel Management organisation in London. They are a niche organisation, operating a rewarding company culture focused on its employees... in other words, you won't be expected to work 12 hour days, 7 days per week and will be offered tailored career progression from the get-go.

Despite working in the Travel/Retail space, they operate with a focus on a 'quality first' approach to Software Development, adhering to coding standards (SOLID, DRY) and industry best practice. You will gain genuine (and tailored) career progression alongside the benefit of working in a friendly and collaborative office space.

But enough about them... this advert is all about you. Specifically, what you will need to know should you be interested in applying:

* Strong commercial experience programming in C#.
* Excellent knowledge of the wider Microsoft stack including ASP.NET (Web API, MVC), WCF and Team Foundation Server.
* Commercial experience working on Cloud-based technologies such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
* Strong database experience with MS SQL Server and Entity Framework. Experience with MongoDB would also be desirable.
* Experience with Web Services (SOAP, REST).
* Strong knowledge of Unit Testing and Design Patterns.
* Commercial experience implementing Agile/Scrum processes into a development environment, as well as a clear focus on adhering to coding standards (SOLID, DRY).
* Experience working across the full Software Development Lifecycle including an understanding of Automation Testing and Microsoft Infrastructure.
* Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Test Driven Development.

In return for demonstrating some (hopefully all!) of the above, you will benefit from a highly competitive salary (£50,000 - £60,000) alongside a flexible benefits package including a company bonus scheme, 25 days holiday and private healthcare.

So if you are genuinely sitting at work contemplating your next career move or simply fancy a chat to learn more about this role then give me a shout. You can call me on either or . Alternatively, if you are unable to chat then send me an email to .

Anything discussed will be kept completely confidential.
