Service Desk Analyst - Swindon - £23,000 - £27,000

My client, a global and well established organisation, based in Swindon are seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst with a passion for supporting live systems to end users.

You will be providing technical support and application support of incidents, requests and queries raised from the Service Desk. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop new skills and knowledge of the companies internal systems and applications.

The Role

Main Responsibilities:

  • 1st and 2nd line support
  • Managing support requests
  • IT Infrastructure Support:
    • Support of office applications
    • Perform daily IT health checks
    • Remote IT systems
    • Email and communications systems
    • Antivirus/Malware
    • Printers
  • General Helpdesk support
  • Support of IT projects

Skills & Experience:

Must have:

  • Experience of providing End User support
  • Excellent problem solving
  • Excellent C ommunication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office
  • Ability to travel without restriction if needed
  • Full and clean driving licence

Desirable:

  • SQL Administration
  • Scripting - Powershell
  • Exposure / Understanding of System Centre Suite applications (key SCCM and SCSM)
  • Office 365
