Projects Manager | Leicestershire | £40 - £50k + Package
Our client is a leading contractor who specialise in refurbishment and fit out projects across the Midlands and the UK and they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team. Having completed a number of projects throughout the UK they have earned a reputation for the consistently high quality of their finished products. They pride themselves on their delivery and operational management team, which is integral to the success of their growth plans and business strategy.
The successful candidate must possess previous experience in project managing office fit outs as well as other refurbishment projects including restaurants and industrial work. You will have a proven track record in delivering to programme, revising as appropriate in order to meet client requirements profitably and to the highest standard. You will be responsible for ensuring resources are identified in a timely and efficient manner. The company require their Project Managers to minimise any risk by ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to onsite and that all project related documentation is completed and retained. As a Project Manager you will be expected to facilitate site and client meetings ensuring that there is a complete understanding of the progress of the project at any given time.
Most of your projects will be based in the Midlands but this contractor do cover the whole of the UK, so UK wide travel could be a part of the role. You must have a full working knowledge and understanding of CDM regulations, take a commercial approach to Project Management with the ability to identify cost savings, and understand budget issues. It is essential that you are a highly motivated self -starter who takes complete ownership of the full project term. Furthermore you will have an ability to develop client relationships forging lasting repeat business and promoting the company brand and reputation.
