IT Support Engineer - £22,000 - Fantastic Opportunity

Role: IT Support Engineer

Location:E. Midlands > Leicestershire > Loughborough

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000

Key Experience Required

  • At least 12 months' experience of working in a similar/ 1st Line Support role.
  • Strong support skills with the Microsoft Office product range as well as HP Hardware.
  • Prior commercial experience of working in a fast paced, reactive environment.
  • Experience in providing first class levels of Customer Service.
  • Experience of dealing with remote users
  • It is essential that you hold a Full UK Driving Licence - Travel to other sites will be required occasionally.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established IT Services & Solutions company. You will have the specific responsibility for providing 1st line IT support as well as resolving issues related to printers, photocopiers and phones.

The Role

As an experienced IT Support Engineer you will provide a high level of professional customer service and advice, services and support to all staff; both office based and remote. As an ambitious, bright and dynamic support technician, you will have demonstrable experience in a similar role.

You will ensure all staff have reliable network access to applications and network resources. You will provide high quality 1st line support and escalate any relevant issues to the IT Systems Administrator. You will also keep asset management information up to date (Phone/Servers/Mobile Devices).

You will have a broad range of technical skills with strengths in; IT Security; Windows 10 Operating System; Office 365; Backup Systems; HP Servers; HP Laptops; HP Printer Hardware.

Although not essential, any experience of the following technologies is desirable; VPN Access and Remote Working/Access; Active Directory; SharePoint 2010; Microsoft SCCM 2012; Cisco Switches and Routers
