Head of Marketing, PR & Communications

£50,000 - £55,000 + Bonus

37.5 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Marketing, PR and Communications professional to join a highly reputable employer in the Cullompton area.

The successful candidate will work in partnership with Board of Directors and wider senior management team to strategically position the planning and development of company marketing strategies, internal and external communications and brand positioning.

Main duties:

· Develop and deliver marketing, PR engagement and communications strategy and oversee all activities.

· Position the company as a brand with a reputation for delivery in their sector for local, regional and national business development and market opportunities. Provide expertise for Business development tenders and presentations.

· Liaise and develop professional networks with all media.

· Develop and implement a consistent application of corporate imagery internally and externally that supports brand positioning and raises companies profile.

· Position the company as an employer of choice.

· Any other tasks associated with the role.

Skills and Experience required:

· Recognised professional PR, Marketing, media or Comms qualification. Degree educated or significant experience working at a strategic level.

· Demonstrable experience of designing Marketing, PR and Communications strategies.

· Demonstrable experience of developing a brand and positioning it in a way that improves reputation.

· Demonstrable experience of leading PR campaigns and managing the media proactively or re actively.

· Experience of developing internal communication channels to include staff engagement.

· Demonstrable experience of understanding the strategic risks to the reputation of the organisation and evidence of planning to manage these through effective corporate messaging.

· Demonstrable experience of working in a challenging and fast paced environment.

· Excellent communication skills - verbal and written with influencing skills capable of interacting at all levels within and outside of the organisation.

· Creative solution builder.

· Results driven and commercial in approach.

· Demonstrable ability to manage complex projects and programmes of work.

· Fully computer and IT literate including being conversant with new trends for communication.

Experience of designing Marketing, PR and communications strategies for a large and complex organisation, preferably and organisation with a wide geographical footprint and a complex customer base would be highly beneficial although not essential.
