This role is perfect for an experienced Chemistry Teacher that is looking to progress within a thriving department or an NQT that is looking for an exciting opportunity that will fully support your Induction Program.

The Position

The successful Chemistry Teacher will be joining this secondary Academy in September on a full-time, permanent contract and you will be required to deliver the National Curriculum up to A-Level and make positive contributions to the department and its vision. The classes you will be teaching at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 are of mixed ability and you will therefore require to manage differentiation efficiently.

Your timetable will be solely Chemistry and you will have the opportunity to use a fully resourced department in order to plan lessons and obtain the necessary materials that you feel will benefit your students. It is very exciting times at the Academy are on the path to their first ever "Outstanding" Ofsted.

The Mathematics Teacher

To be considered for the post of Chemistry teacher, you must have a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status following the completion of your teacher training. You will have a strong subject knowledge and the ability to confidently teach Chemistry up to A-Level within a fast-paced and energetic department that is renowned for getting the best out of its students.

The Academy

The Academy are based in South London, within the borough of Bromley and caters to coeducational cohort of approximately 1100 students between the ages of 11-18.
