You will be treated as an individual, with your skills nurtured in a way that suits your ambition rather than through a rigid plan. This attitude extends through the team, with colleagues creating a genuinely exciting and positively focused environment.
You will be supporting clients on a day to day basis, utilising your IT skills via phone, email or remote support to resolve issues efficiently.
To be considered for this position, you will require 18 months of helpdesk support (ideally working for an outsourced IT provider) and be proficient in working to deadlines whilst juggling multiple tasks. Additionally, you will have an industry recognised qualification (eg. CompTIA A+ or MCP).
Whilst working in a helpdesk environment, it is anticipated that you will have gained an in depth understanding of most of the following:
- Microsoft Operating System
- Windows Server 2008 onwards
- Exchange Server
- Active Directory
- Routers and Switches
