My Client is a close-knit team of dedicated people passionate about creating world class experiences for their customer base, providing great customer service, and having a lot of fun along the way.

They currently have a requirement for an IT Manager who will report to the Managing Director. The successful candidate with be responsible for developing and supporting the capability of the company’s IT systems to maximise sales, production and administrative potential and ultimately grow the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s infrastructure support company
o Ensure adequate backups are performed and maintained.
o Manage firewall security and IT disaster recovery planning.
o Manage the server hardware.
o Point of contact to co-ordinate and manage user support requests, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
o Responsibility for the procurement of all hardware, software and maintenance contracts
o Develop and maintain the company disaster recovery plan
o Audit the company’s IT user policy, and hardware and software registers.

Business Systems
• In conjunction with the management team, contribute to the formulation of the short, medium and long term business strategies for the company and ensure the smooth and appropriate transition of these strategies into measurable objectives that provide for meaningful audit of business practice and success.
• Assume overall responsibility for the identification of the IT strategy for the organisation and the identification of requirements for the future.
• Manage the ongoing development and maintenance of the Company ERP/CRM system and integration with other business systems and processes.
• Selection, design and implementation of IT projects to provide maximum company benefit throughout the production, and non-production processes
• Define and agree business/ERP processes with the management team, train users on these processes and ensure these processes are upheld
• Maintain current ERP reports and create bespoke reports as required.

• Understand the role of IT within the business and provide recommendations regarding the evolution of systems and the purchase of hardware and software, ensuring a thorough cost/benefit analysis is undertaken in each case.
• Provide expert analysis and advice on the development and implementation of innovative technologies.
• Responsibility for the IT budget
• Develop relationships with IT suppliers and user groups
• Develop and provide appropriate training programme for company employees
• Participate in industry, and associated professional networks to ensure awareness of trends and best practice to strengthen organisational and technical knowledge
• Any other duties, within reason and capability, as determined by the Managing Director
• Respond to emergency call-outs as required

Experience Required

• Minimum 2/3 years IT management experience (ideally within the manufacturing sector)
• Implementation and support experience in ERP and CRM systems
• Integration of ERP and CRM systems with E-Commerce and Production equipment
• Development of reports using SSRS (or equivalent)
• In depth knowledge of IT hardware and software solutions
• Knowledge of current and emerging IT system technologies
• Experience in the development and implementation of IT security and storage procedures
• Experience in troubleshooting system problems
