I am currently working with a fantastic manufacturing company who is on the look out for their next perfect addition to join their North Manchester Team. They are on the look out for an I.T First Line Support Officer to strengthen the function and progression of their team.

A broad knowledge of IT systems and Hardware is a must as this is a varied as this a hands-on role where the successful candidate will be the 1st point of contact for all IT related issues\queries. The successful candidate will have to be able to manage their priorities and be able to communicate effectively.

Salary: £16,000 - £19,000 (dependent on experience)

Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 5:00PM

Location: Rochdale

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide system training and system support for end users;
• Troubleshooting PC’s, laptops and mobile devices.
• Providing 1st/2nd line support to users.
• Administering policies and procedures.
• Installation and support of telecommunication equipment.
• Maintaining a log of all problems detected and system back-ups.
• Responsible for maintaining backups and for project work such as new builds.
