An excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to join one of the largest Further Education Colleges in Wales in a key management role.

The successful candidate will lead and manage the procurement service on a strategic and operational basis. Specific areas of responsibility include the day-to-day management of the procurement function, the development of new procurement software and the further development of the college’s procurement strategy, policies and procedures.

To succeed in this challenging role you will need to have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead, motivate and support others to meet demanding deadlines.
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply
Extensive procurement management experience
You will also need to be enthusiastic, decisive and have an innovative approach to problem solving.
