Our client is a major stationery e-retailer, operating within the consumer and trade market sectors. A £multi-million player, they are going through a significant growth strategy and are currently seeking to recruit a range of commercial executives. As a result, a Category Buyer is now required to spearhead a number of new category initiatives during these exciting times for the business.
Reporting to the Head Of Trading, you will be responsible for managing the company's relationship with its key suppliers, covering all aspects of sourcing, selction and contract negotiations. Liaising with all parts of the business, including IT, Data and Merchandising teams, you will deliver product and category strategies, focusing upon the core KPIs of revenues, availability and cost pricing.
To apply, it is likely you will be operating within a similar Junior Buying or Category Manager role, be commercial and possess good communication and presentation ability. Analytical and customer focused, you will be self-motivated and have a good understanding of merchandising and the online customer experience.
