Due to internal promotion we have an opportunity to join the team in Leeds as the Amigo Assistant Store Manager.

As the Amigo Assistant Store manager you will ensure the team are engaged and managed effectively to achieve their performance targets, as well as data management information including accurately forecasting stock, sales & labour requirements and implementing plans to improve profitability

Main responsibilities

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Manager to assist in managing a small motivated, trained team with the appropriate skills to deliver a profitable store and ensure all budget targets and KPI’s are not just achieved, but exceeded. Ambitious and commercially aware, with the presence and personality to influence the day to day business, you'll maximise your performance as well as the teams in the manager's absence. Leading by example and setting high standards, you'll enhance sales and provide our customers with great service

Ideal candidate
  • An enthusiastic individual with a passion for working in a retail environment such as WHSmiths, Costcutter and other similar retail chains and forecourts
  • An outstanding communicator, able to liaise confidently with customers & clients and lead, engage & develop team members
  • Knowledge & experience of driving profitable sales growth
  • IT literate
  • Good numeracy skills with the ability to analyse & interpret data e.g. sales data
