ERP Support Consultant / ERP Support Analyst, Manufacturing
ERP Support Consultant / ERP Support Analyst with Manufacturing Knowledge
This is an excellent job with a highly successful specialist global manufacturing company (process manufacturing and discrete manufacturing) working in an internal role in a small IT team of ERP Support people, IT Support staff and an IT Manager, based in Harrogate.
They are offering a salary of up to £35k plus full benefits including private health, life assurance, health insurance, vouchers, and 5 weeks' holiday. This role would suit an experienced ERP Software Support Consultant / Analyst or an ERP Implementation Consultant who wants a straightforward 9-5 position with no travel.
The company has 3 global offices and a network of international distributors in many countries for their specialist products. They have been in business for over 50 years and are at the forefront of product design, development and manufacture in their niche market.
Ideally you will have strong ERP software support skills, with experience of Report Writing and knowledge of SQL (although these last two are not essential - ERP Support skills are key). Their systems run in a Windows environment, with VMWare, Office 365, Windows Server and AD, but they have a team of IT Support Engineers looking after the infrastructure & networks.
What they really need now is an additional ERP Support person to work alongside their other 2 ERP Analysts. You also need knowledge of the manufacturing environment as you will need to understand the business processes, and you should be capable of talking to users at all levels and working with them to define their requirements, and ensure that everyone is getting the most out of their ERP software solution.
They upgraded their ERP solution in 2016 and are still working on growing it and fully understanding it, so you will also work with their software partner where necessary to find solutions to problems.
They are looking for someone with excellent problem solving skills, who can give full time support for the ERP system, and do some analysis, help to further develop the ERP solution, write reports, produce good documentation and explain functional and technical aspects of the software to non-technical users at all levels from the factory floor to the board room. You will have worked with ERP solutions such as Dynamics AX, Sage 1000, Epicor, Intact, Infor Syteline, Dynamics NAV, Sage ERP X3, WinMan, Proteus, Sage 200, SunSystems, SAP Business One, JD Edwards, MfgPro or similar.
They look after their staff very well here and many people have been with the company for over 10 years which is a testament to the excellent working environment. Career prospects are very good.
If you have ERP support skills and knowledge of manufacturing, please get in touch with Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing to find out more.
