A growing yet established Managed Service IT company in London is now recruiting a talented and committed 2nd Line Support Engineer (Windows, AD, MS Office/365, Exchange) to perform a key role in helping the company service existing and new clients whilst maintaining the highest levels of service which is critical to their clients. They provide the highest quality of IT support, consultancy and strategy working with SME's to medium sized organisations - they have built a reputation in their sector as the 'go-to' company to partner with.

The Role:

This role has become available due to an internal promotion within the support team - they pride themselves on their career development pathway and are keen to speak with driven and tech savvy engineers who want to progress their careers within a dynamic and fast paced environment. You will be joining a team of 6 Engineers on the support team, they plan to grow the support teams by 100% in the near future.

You will be supporting the internal team along with existing and new clients with onsite support when required, you will need to be flexible as clients may give only a moment's notice before they require you onsite to support with technical issues. The offices are based in Central London so you are never more than 20 minutes away from client site, you will be working to strict SLA's so time is of the essence - it's not just about fixing the problem but also educating clients how to use the service and getting the job done in a timely and cost effective manner. You will have excellent client facing skills and the ability to resolve challenging issues in a high pressure environment where quick solutions are of paramount importance to the clients.

Background Experience:

Windows Server 2008 R2 / 2012 R2, Windows 7 / 8
Microsoft Office suite / 365
Active Directory / MS Exchange
Networking knowledge covering LAN/vLAN/WAN technologies

The salary on offer is between £27k £32k plus great benefits including discounts on Gym membership, Restaurants and Cinema Tickets - they promote a healthy work/life balance and have regular social events throughout the year.

The client is flexible but ultimately looking to ensure the above criteria is met.
