My client, an IT technical services company based in London SE1, are looking to recruit for an Account Manager.

You do not need to be an experienced Account Manager but you do need:

- To be able to pick up products and services quickly and sell them to their clients

- Confident customer skills

- To be bright, capable and innovative

They provide 3 main services and running at the core of their company are advanced support solutions, project management and hosted services.

The main purpose of the role is to make the customers' business a success, via using the relevant services that the company can provide; identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

Salary is £24,000 per annum, plus commission, which will be discussed at interview. Although the role is predominantly office based, there will be a requirement to visit customer sites, mainly in Central London.

Customer Champion:

• Be the customers voice – inform the business of the customer’s needs;
• Develop customer accounts
• Manage all proactive customer communications of a non-support nature e.g. upgrades, price changes, offers etc;
• Feed ideas into Marketing regarding topics that our customers are interested in;
• Be intrinsic to the development of the customer journey/experience development.

Team Working:

• Work closely with all areas of the business to enhance the customer experience
• Willingly support other members of the team when required.

Personal Performance & Development:

• Monitor and understand own performance against KPI’s and targets;
• Prioritise workload and manage working time effectively;
• Take personal ownership for maintenance and development of role based skills and expertise;
• Take ownership for and progress personal development plan.
