Reporting to the CFO, this newly created role will play a pivotal part in the future success of this business as is it looks to develop its future products in an evolving market place whilst improving the commercial decision making and hunger within the business. The successful person will have to be capable of leading the FP&A function but also developing strong relationships across the wider business in order to facilitate the change. Key areas will be:

  • developing the FP&A team
  • redesigning the management information and educating key stakeholders
  • improving the complex planning process and in-bedding it into the business
  • developing an in-depth understanding of all aspects of costs and drivers across the business
  • working closely with marketing and product development on pricing and targets
  • working closely with business heads to challenge on all aspects of information
  • working with key stake holders to improve operational efficiency

This is a challenging role and it is essential that you have previously created or transitioned an FP&A function to meet the needs of the business. Experience of working within a complex business as well being a qualified accountant is essential. It would be advantageous if you have knowledge of cognos or have worked within a multi-site business.
